DISCOVER THE WORLD OF
VIRTUAL REALITY ESCAPE ROOM
Escape the Rooms are an exciting way to interact with others and measure a sense of team-bonding. Participants are required to solve a series of puzzles to eventually "escape the room"
ESCAPE THE ROOM
The escape room game will be in the form of virtual reality, allowing players to feel completely immersed in the environment. By accessing the room in VR, players will feel a sense of actuality in their game.
virtual
reality
The game will be multiplayer, allowing 2 users in remote locations to access the VR world simultaneously.
MULTI-PLAYER
By utilizing Leap Motion technology, players will be able to virtually interact with the environment using their hands rather than remotes.
LEAP MOTION
This project is part of the Rutgers WINLAB Summer Research Internship program, bringing together researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students. This virtual reality game is inspired by the many "escape the room" style games that are popping up all over the world. The game consists of multiple rooms and series of interlocking puzzles that will provide the players with the key or code to escape the room. The members of this team are developing the game in Unity3D and Leap Motion Technology. The goal is for the game to able to eventually handle multiple players playing online together from remote locations.
